Turkey Incentives in collaboration with our Dutch agent composed a programme to show the participants not only Istanbul’s culture, but also recent construction and development sites. We visited a vast variety of sights and sites, all with its own unique atmosphere and style.
As a special touch a tour in an Oldsmobile was organised, letting our participants relive the 60’s and 70’s in this special means of transportation. Our tour ended with a Turkish simit sandwich (sesame bread) and tea on top of Pierre Lotti Hill in the district of Eyüp.
The group came to Istanbul with a dual purpose: to see the sights and experience the culture of Istanbul, but also to learn about its architectural development.
Therefore, a prominent construction company was contacted and together we taught the participants about the city’s infrastructure and new housing developments in the outskirts. We were also able to visit one of the construction sites for a new apartment building.
Furthermore, a city tour was arranged to show the group as many different sides of Istanbul, so they would have a complete picture of Istanbul’s diverse architecture and infrastructure.
We ended the tour in a new shopping centre where the Bouwend Nederland members could take a closer look at the construction of the facility and their partners could enjoy an hour of shopping.
